On May 8, 2018, a delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia headed by the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Tajikistan Abdulaziz ibn Muhammad al-Badi visited the Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Under of this visit, a joint Investment Forum with the participation of Tajik and Saudi Arabia entrepreneurs took place in the National Training Center of Gulistan on May 9, in which the company “Rohi Somon” participated.
The purpose of Forum was to study the investment and business potential of the Sughd region, to search a potential partners for cooperation with the private sector. Also, an exhibition of goods produced by enterprises of the Sughd region, representing various sectors of the economy, was organized. In particular, agricultural products, textile and clothing industry, food industry, construction industry, tourism, handicrafts and others, which caused an increased interest among the guests from Saudi Arabia.
